Dog Days

1. Are you a dog or cat person?

I prefer dogs, but since I'm allergic to both, the point is moot.

2. Do you have a dog? Have you ever had a dog?

I had a little terrier mutt when I was a kid. He was a fun dog, very feisty. As an adult, I had a shepherd mix...that's when I found out that dogs + me = sick. She was a really awesome dog, too--very sweet and genteel.

3. What is your favorite breed of dog?

I like medium-sized dogs like labs, setters and shepherds. They aren't quite so, uh, Napoleonic. ;-) Truthfully, I prefer mixed breeds; for health reasons, among others.

4. Do you believe that dogs truly are man's best friend?

I don't know about men, but I don't think you could have a more loyal and loving friend than a dog. They think you are God; what more can a person ask? All they expect in return is constant attention, some food, and kindness.

5. If you could come back to life as a dog, would you? Why or why not?

I would stipulate a good owner, but beyond that: YES. ABSOLUTELY!! Oops, can I also stipulate not being a 'toy' dog? Otherwise, what a great life!
