Patrick's Weekender

(Link at left)
Saturday 6

1. How often do you dream while you’re sleeping?
I'm sure I dream every night. If I'm tired enough, I'll even drop into dreaming during a nap. I only remember some of my dreams about twice a week, though.
2. What percentage of dreams do you actually remember details from the next morning?
Ooops, I jumped ahead. I usually have more of a sensory-type memory, but maybe two or three times a month I remember some details.
3. What is the strangest location you have ever had a dream set in?
I have had dreams about outer space. I can't remember anything really odd, just that there's always something a little 'off' about virtually every dream location: rooms are bigger than in reality (or smaller), the sky is the wrong color, that sort of thing.
4. Take the quiz: What do your dreams mean?
What Your Dreams Mean...

Your dreams seem to show that you're a very well adjusted and happy person.

Overall, you are very content in your life.

You have a very vivid imagination and a rich creative mind.

And, that's the same result as when I took it here. So it must be true. ;-)
5. Have you ever solved a real-life problem through something that happened in a dream?
I wouldn't say I solved a problem, but dream have occasionally helped me to see things a little more clearly. I can't think of a particular instance, but I know it's happened.
6. Have you ever looked up elements of a dream you have had in a dream dictionary, and if so, did the definition make sense to your life at that time?
I remember two very vivid dreams that I had as a child, and I've looked those up in several dream dictionaries. Like horoscopes, the 'definitions' are so vague that everything applies. Both of those dreams were about natural disasters (one was a volcano, one was a tornado), supposedly about emotional upheaval (duh), and well, yeah, I was about 12 so I'm sure there was emotional upheaval all around me!
