Preparedness

1. At this moment, how many rolls of toilet paper are there in your house?

I would estimate approximately 12. We have three bathrooms, so we try to keep two or three in each one, and I know I still have a few in the pantry.

2. At this moment, how many working flashlights are there in your house?

I know we have at least 7 or 8, but whether I could find one...that's the real question!

3. Do you know where some candles and matches are?

Yup. Well, ok, technically, it's one of those clickers that look like a curling iron, and the candles are all OVER the place in this house. I'm a little overboard on candles.

4. If the power were to go out right now, how long could you probably get by on the food in your house?

We could eat a lot of it, unless we grilled it (how does one grill a frozen pizza??), but we could last a week or so, I think, given coolers and several runs to the store for ice.

5. It’s someone’s birthday, and you’ve GOT to come up with something to give him or her RIGHT NOW! What have you got?

I suck at this, and that's why people tend not to get presents from me. I suppose I could find something in my "gift closet" (self-preservation in action, there), and it might be a candle. Or a book.
