Neat and Tidy
1. How neat are the clothes you wear? Do you iron? Fold them promptly? Pull them out of the dirty laundry?
Relatively neat. I used to iron, but I wear fewer iron-able things now. Most stuff comes out of the dryer in pretty good shape--because Beast empties it right away, and I tend to let stuff sit there and wrinkle! I rarely pull stuff out of the dirty clothes to wear. Once in awhile a pair of jeans to do gardening or to run outside for the newspaper or something like that.2. How do you make your bed? Hospital corners? All over the floor? Or somewhere in between?
Hospital corners when new sheets go on weekly. Then they gradually come out over the course of the week. Beast is hell on beds: he really tears them apart. My preference would be to keep the corners tightly tucked in, but it's just not worth the hassle when it just gets torn up every night. :-)3. Do you leave dirty dishes in your dishwasher? In the sink? On the counters? In other rooms?
I do try to at least spread up my bed every morning, though. I like getting into a tidy bed at night.
Yes.4. Are your floors clean enough to eat off of or is there an old science experiment growing in the corner?
Not for days or anything, though the pots/pans sometimes sit for several days in a completely passive-aggressive way.... Long story.
Somewhere in between. If it weren't for Beatific Beth, the answer would DEFINITELY be the latter. I hate cleaning floors, so she comes and does that for us.5. How clean is the outside of your car? How about the inside? Is there junk in your trunk?
Beast cleaned the cars recently. I hate driving a dirty (outside) car, but it's hard in the winter to keep it from getting road-sludge on it. I tend to be a little messy, but there's never anything scary inside: empty pop bottles (1 or 2) and straw wrappers, and that's about it. If I had a trunk...no, there'd be nothing in it but the spare and road flares. [Call me Ms. Literal]
