If you could rewrite one pivotal moment in history, good or bad, to make a change, which moment would that be AND what are some of the consequences that you believe might come from that change?
I'd make sure that whoever it was who thought up and published "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" and others of his ilk were all stillborn. Perhaps we could have avoided much of the anti-Jewish crap of the 19th and 20th century, including pogroms in Russia, Hitler's fixation on Jews, and potentially WWII.What's the most unusual hobby you have? How did you get started with it?
I don't really have too many unusual hobbies. I guess the weirdest thing is keeping a cardfile of all the books I've read for the past 15 or so years. That's a result of my reading journal--which was an idea I got at a Wisconsin Library Association conference in the late 80s--and my OCD tendencies.Name one thing for each of the following: Favorite smell, texture, view, sound, taste.
Smell: Just-bathed babies
Texture: Very fine sand in my fingers
View: Engineer Pass (see right)
Sound: Quiet; the sound of trucks miles away on a highway; train whistles in the distance
Taste: ...er...what I was going to say sounds weird, so I'll just go with Dr. Pepper
