Wrapping Paper or gift bags? Paper unless the gift is terribly weird-shaped, then I'll use a bag.
Real tree or artificial? I'm allergic to real trees, so we've had a fake tree for 4 or 5 years now. We may look for a pre-lit "retro" tree after the holidays, if there are any left.
When do you put up the tree? Normally, around Thanksgiving or the first week of December.
Do you like eggnog? Yum.
Favorite gift received as a child? Probably the Barbie Dream House I got when I was 7 or so.
Do you have a nativity scene? Yup.
Hardest person to buy for? Usually, Beast, but I think I did ok this year.
Easiest person to buy for? Sparky, so far.
Mail or email Christmas cards? I mail most of them. I have one here that I'll have to email because I don't have a current street address. And there are a couple of others I'll send email cards.
I oops-ed. The
Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
Favorite Christmas movie?
When do you start shopping for Christmas?
OK, back the regularly scheduled programming now...
Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Not very often.
Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Cookies, and/or fudge.
Clear lights or colored on the tree? Multi-color lights.
Favorite Christmas song? "Silent Night" and anything by Nat King Cole.
Travel at Christmas or stay home? I'd prefer to stay home, but we almost always go somewhere.
Can you name all of Santa’s Reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen. And Rudolph.
Angel on the tree top or a star? Star.
Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? We open one from Beast's side on the Eve, and the rest Xmas morning.
Most annoying thing about this time of year? The constant onslaught of Christmas music. I don't know why it annoys me so much, but then again, I don't really care for Muzak of any kind.
Favorite ornament theme or color? I have loads of ornaments from my childhood, and a couple from my mom's childhood. Those are special, but I also like all the birds I've accrued over the past few years.
Favorite Christmas dinner? Whatever I didn't have to cook!
What do you want for Christmas this year? A big check for the D'Iberville Volunteer Foundation.
