1. Do you send Christmas cards? If so, do you write any notes inside the Christmas card or include a "newsletter" about your family, or do you basically just sign your name?

We do send cards, splitting the pile more or less in half. I write notes in some cards, and we usually have a newsletter. I can't stand cards that arrive with just a signature; tell me what's been going on all year!!

2. Are you more likely to shop in a store that has returned the phrase, "Merry Christmas" to its holiday signage?

This is totally NOT a criteria for where I shop.

3. Do you buy your pets Christmas presents?

They usually get a little extra treat, yeah. When we had a dog, I even wrapped up the bone/rawhide/bag o' snacks/whatever a few times so we could watch her rip the paper apart to get to the treat.

5. Which have you owned more of during your life, cats or dogs?

My dad hated cats, but we eventually talked him around to a dog when I was ten. He loved that dog, too. Once I was married, after we bought a house we went to the pound and picked out a dog. I've never had a cat, and since the whole cat/dog allergy thing began, I won't be getting anymore of these kinds of pet.
What a drag, too.

6. If you had to come back as one or the other, and assuming you'd belong to an owner who would treat you well, would you rather be a cat or a dog?

I think I'd rather be a cat. If I had to be a dog, it would be a large (80 lbs. or up) one; they are just less prone to generalized idiocy.
