Off to France tomorrow morning (I know I'm going on about it but I'm a little excited!). We're driving and catching a ferry. I'd prefer to fly but we'd missed the get your cheap flights now window of opportunity. So, tell us, how do you like to travel?

I used to LOVE to fly. I still like the speed and the excitement of it, but I hate HATE HATE airports, airlines, and rude passengers.
I also like trains...in Europe. Amtrak isn't nearly as fun, or as organized. Every time my sister and brother-in-law take the train to visit us they are HOURS late...I'm not even exaggerating. This week: five hours! And that's normal.
Boats--I get motion sick, and generally anxious (I can't swim). Buses make me motion sick, too. In fact, I'd rather be on a boat than a bus.
Cars are my best bet nowadays. Lots more control of the whole situation.
I'd like to try RVing one of these days.
