When you look out your window, what do you see?Well, from where I'm sitting now, all I can see out of any windows is sky and the roofs of the porches (front and back).
Otherwise, it's the basic suburb view: yard, grass, trees, other houses, road...plus Christmas greens on the porch rail and on the house across the street.
In one way or another, everyone is a minority. In what way are you a minority? For instance, I am a white suburban male (all majority statuses) but I was the big V all the way until my marriage night (has to be a minority status).I'm always a little confused on how a woman can be a minority (since there are more women on earth than men), but that counts, I guess, at least legally in the U.S. Other ways I'm probably a minority in the U.S. are that I live in a very small town, I have a master's degree, I'm debt-free (except for the house), I've been married to the same person for 20 years, and I've left the continent more than once.
Otherwise, in the world picture, I'd say my minority status consists of being white, Christian, free to choose my life path, a homeowner, and likely to live past 70.
