Five on Friday

Holiday Spirit

1. Which winter holidays do you celebrate, if any? Why?
I'm assuming that this refers to December holidays. We celebrate Christmas, and we also usually recognize Hanukkah.
2. How do you like to celebrate those holidays?
I'd like to celebrate them calmly, but that isn't happening this year.
3. What is your favorite holiday carol or song?
"Silent Night."
4. Tell us about your favorite holiday tradition.
We have a fondue at some point around Christmas or New Year's. It's basically steak cut into bite-size chunks, along with small onions and mushrooms, which we then fry in peanut oil and eat along with dips and potato chips and cheese. Yum. It takes awhile to fill up and it leaves plenty of time for talk. My family has done this since I was about 8 or 10.
5. If you could change one thing about the holiday season, what would it be?
Much less stress.
