1. Are you registered to vote? Explain why you are or are not registered to vote?
I am. The only times I haven't been registered are those waiting periods after a move. I'm registered to vote because I'm not a slacker and I do care.2. Did you vote early (if your state offers this) or are you voting on election day?
I voted early last spring for the school referendum; I was out of town on the day of the election. I voted today; voting early is difficult because I never know who the candidates for local offices are until the week before the election.3. Do you truly believe your vote counts or are you not convinced that "every vote counts"?
My.4. Did you make up your mind about what candidates to vote for a while back or within the last two weeks?
Vote.
Counts.
(we don't use Diebold)
See #2. I wait till the end for the local candidates and then study them all, using the questionnaires to the local paper. On the bigger issues, I usually know how I'm voting well ahead.5. Compared to your parents’ views, are you voting the same as or different from them? Are you more liberal or conservative than them?
Oh, I'm just totally more liberal than they are/were. All their kids ended up Democrats.
