Halloween


1. Do you celebrate Halloween? Explain:

Not to the extent of going to parties or wearing a costume.

2. Do you hand out candy and/or go door-to-door trick-or-treating?

Yes to the candy. Sparky always trick-or-treated. Make that "Sparky trick-or-treats." He didn't last year, but suddenly on Sunday he said he was going this year.

3. What was the scariest Halloween costume you had and why did you pick out that costume?

I don't think I've ever gone really scary. I dressed as the undead one year at work (where I used to work we had to dress up): bought a black dress at a thrift store, shredded it to look rotten, ratted my hair, put on lots of white/green/black/yellow makeup on exposed skin (arms, legs, face)....
I can't believe we had to wear costumes at work!

4. Do you prefer a “trick” or “treat”? Explain:

A treat. I got my fill of tricks growing up with an older brother.

5. Do you think Halloween is scarier now than it was when you were younger? Explain:

I think the haunted houses are scarier; they did a bit to that effect on some show I was watching yesterday. Otherwise, no; not where I live, anyway.
