1. do you make friends easily?
I make 'acquaintances' easily, but it takes time to make friends.2. do you have many close friends?
I have three or four really tight, best-bud friends.3. tell us about your oldest friend.
The friend I've had longest is Laura. I met her when we were 6. She lived in the house catty-corner behind my babysitter. We weren't really close until junior high through high school. In many ways, we are totally opposite from each other, but on those infrequent occasions when we see each other anymore (she lives in Colorado, I'm 1000 miles away from her) we just fall right back into our rhythm.4. tell us about your newest friend.
My newest, and nearest, best friend is Amy. Like Laura, we couldn't be different in many ways, but we have such good times when we have time to spend together.5. do you hang out with your friends often, or just occasionally when you can find time?
Occasionally. We're all really busy.6. what's the furthest you've travelled to visit (or vacation with, etc.) a friend?
I guess that would be our flight to Texas to see my college roommate get married. That was probably 1500 miles.7. what's the biggest or best thing a friend has ever done for you?
Listening. That counts a lot for me.8. what's the worst or most hurtful thing that a friend (or an ex-friend) has done to you?
Allowing her husband to insult my kid without responding. It has really strained our friendship and we actually almost never speak anymore. He's such a prick, and he's messed her up (mentally, not physically) badly. Oh, well.
