Monday Madness

Questions from the regulars:

1. From: cassie:
Dramas or comedies?
I prefer comedies. There's so much to laugh at in the world. And I tend to get annoyed with emoting of the kind frequently found in dramas. The other plus to comedies that is rare to find in dramas is that you can watch them over and over and see/hear something new each time, something you'd missed the first time, or that didn't seem as funny the first time.
2. From: nutmegnine:
Your neighbor has frequent noisy parties on nights before you need to get up early. Do you confront him directly, call the police, call your landlord, join in the debauchery, or seethe quietly and do nothing?
I'm most likely to do the latter the first couple of times. If s/he is pleasant and easy to deal with, i.e., if we're friendly, I'd probably mention the problem to her/him casually in conversation after that. I don't have a landlord, so the next step would be to call the police. This only works, however, if s/he is breaking noise laws. In reality, I'd probably just break out the earplugs and white-noise machine and find the room in the house furthest from the noise and do my best to sleep. If that were impossible...well, at this point in my life, I know that sleep is over-rated anyway, and I'd probably just wait the party out by blogging, reading or watching TV.

When I lived in a dorm, this sort of thing was a regular occurrence, of course. That was before I realized I could survive on 3 hours of sleep and before I discovered earplugs. I used to get quite cranky. OK, I was a raving bitch. ;-)
3. From: sherle:
Are you more comfortable in big crowds or small groups?
Small groups. Hate crowds. Hence, my avoidance of amusement parks and other large tourist destinations, airports around holidays, big-city events (parades, races, etc.)....
4. From: zeno:
Do you prefer Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox?
I use Explorer. I know that takes mega-points away from my geekhood. Oh well.
5. From: briar:
They say you learn something new every day. What new thing did you learn today?
I've only been up about 45 minutes! Can I get back to you on that?
So, actually, perhaps what I've learned is that I shouldn't meme first thing in the morning....hee
