I've Been Everywhere...

What's the longest road trip you've ever taken?

Hmmm, probably driving from Denver to the San Jose, CA, area in high school. I've done so many road trips, though, it's hard to pick one. I've driven from WI to Maine (via Canada one way), and from WI to Washington, D.C. too, not to mention WI to the Gulf Coast.

Do you like traveling in the car?

Yes, but I have to sit where I can see out. I get carsick easily.

What do you do to keep yourself (or your kids, if you have them) entertained while on a car trip?

I sleep. We listen to the radio or CDs, Sparky has an iPod now. We'll talk, play the alphabet game, eat....

What's the oddest thing in your glove box right now?

I have LOTS of fast-food napkins, since I tend to be a klutz about spilling things. Is that weird? Otherwise, the only other things are the registration, insurance card, manuals, some stuff that goes with the CD player.
