1. What are you going to be doing this weekend?
Cleaning, shopping, making a LOT of phone calls, prepping for Sunday...not much that seems very fun. Oh, well.2. Do you tend to plan ahead or live for the moment?
I plan. I'm compulsive about planning and prepping. The cost of this is that I frequently miss the moment.3. Do you live by your calendar or are you techno-savvy with high tech organizers? If so, which one do you use?
I had a PDA for about 18 months, before it broke. That was about 2 years ago. They are cool, but I really really enjoy the pen and paper gestalt too much to give it up. There's nothing like an empty calendar waiting to be filled up....or old address books to look back at. With electronics, you lose that "man, I was stressed when I wrote that!" and "whose handwriting is THIS??" thing.4. Where do you see yourself in a year? In 5 years?
Next year at work, I hope to have my job, my sanity, and my health back. Next year in the rest of my life, I hope my mom and sister are still around (I think I hope this anyway), and I know I'll be thrilled to be babysitting for my grand-nephew whenever I can.
In 5 years, Sparky will be in his freshman year of college. We will have just made it to our 25th anniversary. Maybe we'll be on a cruise or a long fall drive through the changing leaves somewhere. I hope I'm still cataloging somewhere. I'd kind of like to have taken some classes, or at least signed up for some to start as soon as we get back from our vacation. I'll be nearly 48. Mmmm. That's a little weird. That's how old my sisters were when they were diagnosed with cancer and Parkinson's respectively.
