1. What type of music do you generally listen to?
I'm pretty eclectic. The only things I don't like is opera, hardcore CW, and really nasty noisy-to-be-noisy stuff.2. Is there a particular type of music you listen to when you need something to lift you out of the dumps? If so, what kind?
Dance-y stuff, with a good beat, without much intellectual content. Music that brings back happy memories is also good.3. Do you sing along with the music as it plays? Maybe play a little air guitar?
If I know the words, I tend to sing. If I know the song well, I'll even harmonize. Not too much air guitar, but a lot of dancing.4. Do you have a guilty secret when it comes to music? (i.e. You listen to what your friends listen to but when you're home on your own, you put on something your friends would never let you live down.)
I do not base my musical tastes around whether my friends like me for them. Having said that, I do really like show tunes. Apparently that makes me really dorky. {shrug}
5. The Price of Gas Is Going Down: I filled up the car yesterday at $2.59 a gallon. What's the lowest gas price you've seen this week?
At some point recently I saw gas for under $3/gallon; I think it was Monday or Tuesday. I don't really pay that close of attention until I reach the point where I need to buy gas, however.Not quite sure what that last one has to do with music, so I'll just say that our redneck neighbors are having their end-of-summer party tonight, which means a live band, which means REALLY LOUD, but usually we know and like the songs. Still, we're tired tonight, so it's kind of annoying.
Looks like the best I can do fairly close by is $2.89/gallon. If I drive 20 minutes, I can get as low as $2.72.
