Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Things about SPARKY

1. He has red hair, like my dad.
2. We weren't going to use my dad's name in our kid's, but when he showed up with red hair...well...we sort of had to. Nine grand-kids and the first one with red hair. So there are actually 3 grandsons with some variation of my dad's name.
3. He was the happiest baby in the world: rarely cried, friendly, happy, cuddly.... So NOT my side of the family!
4. When he was little, he looked a lot like Beast. Now he looks like my dad, and me.
5. He's got peach fuzz on his upper lip. OMG!
6. At the gym yesterday, it became obvious that I can lift more than he can on the weight machines.
7. He loves science, and math. His best grades are in reading and writing classes.
8. He's about as organized as a hurricane.
9. Video games rock his world. Much as I complain about them, I'd rather deal with the fallout from those instead of girls! :-)
10. He loves (LOVES!) carrots. I think he's part rodent.
11. He's allergic to water (apparently), unless he can swim in it.
12. Books: he swallows them whole. Wonder where he got that?
13. Best kid in the world. No comparison. I'd do anything for him, if he asked. It's a dangerous kind of love for me to have for him.
