1. Do you own any L.P.s? If so, how many?
We own dozens. Probably close to 100, with several duplicates. And then there are those 45s...2. Do you own any rare or special L.P.s? Tell us the story behind how you got them.
Beast got ahold of a special Styx EP from their "Mr. Roboto" era that is shaped like the head of one of the robots. I'm not sure it's rare, but it's definitely weird.3. Are there any original-copy L.P.s that you'd absolutely love to have?
Not really. If I owned it I couldn't play it because that would damage the value of it, which seems ridiculous to me: why own something you can't use?!4. What do you think the future holds for the L.P.?
I have no idea. When CDs appeared, I thought by 2006 records would be completely gone; just artefacts. I'm not enough of a music snob to understand any reason for continuing to use them, or produce them. I haven't listened to a record in probably close to 15 years. The only reason we still have them is the faint hope that the ones we own will eventually turn into collector's items, and because we seem to have issues in the "Throwing Things Away" department.
