Monday Madness

Sept. 11

1. How long have you been blogging?
I started in January 2004 with my book blog and have grown Topsy-like since.
2. How many times have you taken a break from blogging?
I've only stopped on vacations when I haven't had a computer readily accessible. Otherwise, I'm pretty much every day.
3. How long is the longest you've gone, so far, without posting on your blog?
Three weeks while I was in England in 2004. But I posted the whole trip online from my journal when I got home. It's around here somewhere...
4. How many fellow bloggers do you keep in touch with, through your blogs, on a regular basis?
I have 126 feeds in my blogroll (in Bloglines). I'd say about 10-15% of them are written by people I consider friends. That includes online, bloggy pals and people I know offline who happen to blog.
5. Have you ever met, in person, a blogger on your blogroll?
I have met, in person, only five. Of those, four I knew before we all had blogs. And I'm related to two of them. I'm not counting myself and the four feeds that are connected to me.
6. How often do you update/change the 'extra' stuff on your blog?
Like the sidebar stuff and the layout? Not all that often, except for my avatar. She's like a paper-doll that I can dress up and change clothes regularly.

I also update my ongoing reading list relatively often.
7. Do you think you'll be blogging for years to come?
Yeah, for a few years. I dunno. I should probably back this all up somehow....
