Labor Day

In honor of Labor Day here in the U.S., here are today's questions....

Do you have any Labor Day weekend traditions?

Not really. When I was a kid we always went to our cabin in the moutains on three-day weekends. We don't have a regular thing nowadays though.

What was your first official (tax-paying) job?

Working as a page in my local library.

What profession do you think is under-appreciated?

Garbageman, janitor, gardener, gravedigger...the ones where you only notice they were done if they're done wrong.

Do you have a dream job? If so, what would it be?

I really like my current job, though some of the stuff around it is really sucking right now. Ask me in about a year about the whole situation.
My dream job would be writing. For a living. But I'm careful what I wish for.

If you've given birth, was your labor more or less difficult than you expected? (If you haven't given birth, how do you think you'd do?)

It was about what I expected, thanks to "Little House on the Prairie" and other dramatic shows of the 70s.
