1. Do you drink enough water?
I don't do the obligatory 8 glasses a day, no. I just heard recently that that is all hooey anyway. I think the idea behind the 8 glasses is good simply because it keeps your stomach full and you're less likely to eat. However, I don't think from a medical perspective it's necessary.2. Where’s the nearest swimmable body of water?
We live less than a mile from a small man-made lake that I wouldn't even stick a toe into; there are too many people I've known who've told me about rashes. The one I'd definitely trust a bit is about 65 miles away, but there are a lot of other, smaller lakes in my immediate area. I just have no interest in them....3. When did you learn to swim?
In about 2009.4. How do you feel about rain?
I love wandering around in the rain, provided I don't have to appear in public afterwards. The downside is that I can't see well because I either have to remove my glasses or get them all spotted up.5. What are your thoughts on bottled water?
The water in town--where I work--is horrible-tasting. I'd prefer bottled water over it. Otherwise, I think bottle water is silly and only use it if I'm on vacation or outside all day or something like that. It occurred to me about 10 years ago that kids (and adults) drinking bottled water are not getting any fluoride, which is sort of scary.
