Four for Friday

Sept. 8

Q1 - Politics: A recent poll conducted by CNN revealed that Republicans favor former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani for the GOP presidential nomination in 2008, while Democrats are looking toward U.S. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton as their nominee. Looking ahead to 2008, do you feel you will pleased or disappointed with the person elected President of the United States?
If those are the candidates, I think I'll shoot myself now and be done.

While I, personally, have no problem voting for Hillary, I really don't want to spend 18 months listening to neocons and other asshats joyfully whipping out all the sexist shit they can get by with (like, everything!) in their quest to...what IS their quest with her, anyway?? Is it that they want to see her cry, because she's a girl? Morons.
Q2 - High School: Who were you in high school: a jock, prep, dork, geek, motor head, nerd, druggie, punk, straightedge, brainiac, suck-up, a/v cart pusher, teacher's pet, slacker, club member, etc.?
I was a band geek, semi-teacher's pet, and a brain. [and--who knew--I was Straight Edge before it was invented!]
Q3 - Roadside Attraction: If you were given free reign to create a roadside attraction, what would you create?
I'd like to create a big empty area where a large roadside attraction once stood, taking the land back to the way it was before Mr. Bob's Roadside Petting Zoo and Rock Garden erupted.
Q4 - 9/11: Do you agree with the oft-repeated line that "9/11 changed everything"?
It seems to have changed nothing beyond creating a good (or bad) excuse for continuing to throw our weight around in the world. Like we didn't have enough excuses for that...
