1. Do you still have tonsils?
Yep. In spite of years of strep throat, my doctor never took a knife to me. I suspect my parents had something to say about this...either out of financial necessity or out of knowing from five kids that non-required surgery is bad.
2. Would you bungee jump?
Yup. Thought my desire for doing so is decreasing as the years pass...
3. If You Could Do Anything In The World For A Living What Would It Be?
Why Are All The Words Capitalized? I'd Probably Be a Spelling Superhero.
4. How many tattoos do you have?
Nada.
5. Your favorite fictional animal?
The white rabbit in Alice. I feel like that rabbit many days.
6. One person that never fails to make you laugh?
In person: G (one of the Gs at the consortium).
Celebrity-wise: Bush. Otherwise, I'll cry. And...Robin Williams.
7. Do you consider yourself well organized?
In some areas, but not most of the time.
8. Any Addictions?
Again With The Capitals! Caffeine, blogging, reading, worrying, being annoying... taking things too much to heart.
9. From what news source do you receive the bulk of your news?
Beast. The net in general, seriously. Bill Maher. Occasionally CNN. Not the networks, never the networks.
10. Would you rather go to a carnival or circus? Carnies make me nervous, circuses make me nervous because of the animal acts. Still...a good circus over a carnival wins out for me.11. When you were twelve years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was 12, I was planning on being a writer.
12. Best Movie You’ve Seen This Year?
Since I Think I've Only Seen One at the Theater This Year, I Guess I Have to Pick "Monster House."

14. What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Put on my glasses.
15. Siblings?
I hate this question. There were 5 of us. Now there are 4...or 3 1/2 on a bad day.
16. What is the best thing about your job?
In the big picture, helping people connect with information and entertainment is cool.
17. Have you ever gone to therapy?
Yup. And I think I'm headed back there soon.
18. If you could have one super power what would it be?
For me, a superpower would be controlling my temper, or seeing past my temper. See #17.
19. Do you own any furniture from Ikea?
I actually don't think I do...not anything you'd call furniture anyway. I have a lot of artwork and gadgets from there, though.
20. Have you ever gone camping?
Yes, and I have not ever found the tent/sleeping bag/pee in the woods thing at all fun.
21. Gas prices! First thought?
Coming down. Now that summer vacation is over. Of course.
22. Your favorite cartoon character?
Opus. No contest. Though I like everyone in Boondocks (when is it coming back?!).
23. What was your first car?
My first car was actually Beast's: a 78-era Pinto. The first one we bought as a couple was a 81-era Chevy Monza. The first NEW vehicle we bought was a Toyota pickup.
24. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual?
I know I've answered this recently...No, it's not. But then, I would say that wouldn't I, being married?
25. The Cosby Show or the Simpsons?
Again I say {power} OFF.26. Do you go to church?
Too bloody often, I think!
27. What famous person would you like to have dinner with?
I'd love to sit down and talk friend-to-friend with Hillary Clinton. What is she really like when she's not "on." Or, is she even capable of not being "on." Failing that, Gloria Steinem.
28. What errand/chore do you despise?
Shopping, especially grocery shopping, and cleaning floors.
29. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?
"...too early..." But I'd already heard Sparky up and about, so I knew I had to get up.
30. Last time you puked from drinking?
This one I know I've done before. It's been a VERY long time since I threw up because of alcohol intake: 20 years or so.
31. What is your heritage?
Pale northern European: British, Irish, Scottish, Dutch, some French...
32. Favorite flower?
Heirloom, garden roses.
33. Disney or Warner Bros? {shrug}Neither. Or, whatever.
34. What is your best childhood memory?
Jumping rope in the driveway.
35. Your favorite potato chip?
I don’t like potato chips much, so they have to be flavored. My nephew turned me on to peppered chips two years ago. They are hard to find around here but oh-so tasty!
36. What is your favorite candy?
Smarties or Sweet-Tarts.
37. Do you burn or tan?
If I'm very careful, I can achieve Freckles instead of a burn.
38. Astrological sign?
I'm a Scorp.
39. Do you own a gun?
Yup. Several water guns.
40. What do you think of hot dogs?
I try not to if at all possible, especially when I'm eating one!
And now I see I've lost my connection to Blogger.com ...sigh...
...and then I forgot to publish when Blogger came back up...
