WHATS YOUR TAKE ON SANDLES [sic]?:

I haven't worn 'real shoes' since June, and only then because I was doing construction. I dread the coming Season of Socks and Shoes.

HOW MANY PAIRS DO YOU OWN?:

I think...6 or 8? I'm not sure. Probably too many.

WHATS YOUR FAVORITE PAIR?:

These:

WHAT'S YOUR NORMAL SUMMER ATTIRE?:

Used to be shorts and T-shirt. That's still what I wear at home, or in casual situations. At work, it's usually capris and some kind of (perhaps) dressier shirt, like this:...only without the blue cami.

ARE YOU A BOATER?:

Nope. Prone to seasickness and fears about drowning.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE SUMMER ACTIVITY?:

Just being outside, generally. Soaking up the heat for the winter months.

WHAT'S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE SUMMER VACATION?:

This is the first summer where part of my vacation was spent working my butt off rebuilding someone's house. It's a keeper of a memory.

ARE YOU A CAMPER?:

Eeeuw. Feh. No.

BASEBALL FAN?:

Not an MLB fan. I like the game, just not the pro players.

WHAT'S YOUR METHOD OF TANNING DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS?:

Just sitting in the sun. I tend to burn easily, so there is always sunscreen handy.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE SUMMER MONTH, WHY?:

August, when the crickets are singing. That is, right now!

LEAST FAVORITE SUMMER MONTH?:

June. Too wet and unpredictable (and frequently cold).

4TH OF JULY PLANS?:

Stand in my yard and watch the fireworks. Next summer we'll be at my niece's preparing (or recovering from) her wedding.

SUNBATHING OR TANNING SALON?:

Neither. I burn. And tanning salons...don't get me started....

SELF TANNER OR ALL NATURAL?:

A little of both.

SWIMMING IN RIVERS AND LAKES OR AT A POOL?:

I can't swim, so whatever I do is really just wading or soaking. A clean lake, or the pool.

CAMPING IN AN R.V OR IN A TENT?:

RV. Not that I've done this, but I hate tent-camping.

TENT OR SLEEPING BAG UNDER THE STARS?:

Hotel room, please.

GOING TO A BASEBALL GAME OR SPENDING THE DAY SHOPPING?:

How about bocce in the backyard during a barbecue?

VACATION OR STICKING AROUND THE HOME TURF?:

Vacation!!!

PANTS OR SHORTS?:

Shorts. Pants, in the summer, are horrible! I'll wear a dress first.

ICE CREAM OR POPSICLE?:

Popsicle. Although, I've now reached the age of cold=pain in my mouth.

SHORTS OR SKIRT?:

Either, though I haven't worn a skirt in eons. As long as there are no nylons involved, it really doesn't matter.

TANK TOPS OR TEES?:

Either. I don't have too many tanks, because of the aforementioned tendency to burn.

SHOES OR SANDLES?:

Sandals. [Didn't we do this one??]

HAIR UP OR HAIR DOWN?:

Down if inside, up if outside.

SPENDING MORE TIME OUTDOORS OR INSDIDE WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING?:

Unfortunately, inside because of allergies, but I try to be outside for a few hours at least every week (I just pay for it for a day or two afterwards).

Uh-oh, I'm a grown-up. I work regardless of weather.

Enjoying the heat.

Nope. I don't really like hat-hair. Only if I'm out in the wind, or in a convertible.

Nope.

DO YOU PARTY MORE DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS?:

Noooo, I think it's about the same as the rest of the year, just outdoors.

Yeah, I guess.

Not if I can help it!

DO YOU WISH YOU COULD GO ON A SPECIFIC VACATION? WHERE?:

I'd like to go to Italy, but NOT in the summer. Maybe autumn. In the summer, I'd go to Maine again in a heartbeat.

DO YOU GO TO MOVIES OR THE DRIVE IN MORE IN THE SUMMER?:

We go to movies a little more often, maybe.

DO YOU GO TO THE BEACH A LOT?:

Nope. The nearest beach is private. Fuckers.

DO YOU PREFER TO BE TAN DURING THE SUMMER?:

I'd love to be tan. I just freckle and burn, though.
