1. What are your five favorite stores?

FIVE?? Fine, start with a hard one (tho' I suspect these will all be hard this week, for me).

1. Target
2. Kohl's
3. Ikea
4. Vicky's
5. Circuit City

2. Is there any store you absolutely hate going to?

I won't be going back here for awhile, till they figure out their computer system. Otherwise, I loathe the Jewel in the town where I work. They have improved in the past couple of years; they used to suck 100% of the time, and now it's only about 70%.

3. Do you pay with cash, credit, debit, or something else?

The only thing I never do anymoe is write a check. I normally have enough cash, but if not I go to the debit card. Usually the credit card only gets used on vacations.

4. Do you prefer to shop in person or online?

Generally, I prefer online, especially in theory. Sometimes, however, you need something NOW...and there's that upcharge for delivery that gnaws at me when I could drive 20 minutes and get it myself. However, with the cost of gas lately, I'm thinking that upcharge is about the same as me driving, so it might actually be cheaper to do online! Plus, all the time it saves: I could grocery shop while I watch TV!! I hate grocery shopping

Of course, with a 13-year-old son, we do have to clothes shop in person for the most part. Who knows how long his pants will need to be this fall!

5. In the last six months, what single purchase has been the most important to you?

The GPS Beast bought me for Mother's Day has been fabulous: fun and helpful. I need to update the software, however: there are some streets that I drive on semi-regularly that aren't on the maps.
