1. A couple of months ago the American Film Institute (AFI) came out with 100 Cheers, 100 [Y]ears which was a countdown of the top 100 feel good movies of all time. The top movie was It's A Wonderful Life. What would be your choice for #1?
I've never seen "...Wonderful Life" so I couldn't pick it. Before I looked at the list (again), I was thinking "Singin' in the Rain" (which they put at #10). But I think they're #6 would be good too: "Wizard of Oz." I'll go with that one.2. Do you every buy anything you've seen advertised on TV? If so, what was it and were you happy with it or was it a waste of money?
Of course I buy stuff that is advertised on TV. I simply don't buy it because of the ads. In fact, at times I stop buying things because the ads are so annoying.3. Do you watch reruns or shows that are in syndication? Which ones?
We watch Spike TV's reruns of CSI pretty regularly. It's the only reason for Spike TV to exist in my universe.4. What's [sic] your top five favorite shows? If you want to expand on why they're your favorites, please do.
CSI--I like all the actors because of their acting (difficult to look Intent on Your Work week after week, after all), because they are very easy on the eyes, and because I like the way the show is shot and the subject matter.5. What's the last movie you went out to see?
Survivor--It's fun to yell at the stupid people. That occasionally includes Jeff Probst, but more often it's the contestants.
The Amazing Race--I like Phil. A lot. And the rest of the scenery is nice too. It's also fun to yell at the contestants.
Orange County Choppers--They make some fabulous bikes, and it's always fun to see the Pauls, Jr. and Sr., shouting each other down. And Mikey. Ohmygod, Mikey. hee
Mythbusters--All those things we've been told are fact, or suspect as frauds (like pop rocks and soda causing your stomach to explode) are tested by people who really enjoy blowing things up!
We went and saw "Monster House" a couple of days ago. It was pretty funny.6. What's the last movie you've seen on DVD?
We watched "Ferris Bueller..." again (for the thousandth time" night before last.7. Do you prefer going out to the movies or staying at home and watching DVDs?
If the movie is really good, I'd rather see it in the theater. I just hate to bleed out my wallet for a shitty movie.8.Have you decided to watch any of the new TV shows that have been advertised this year?
No. I don't really have time to spend on a lot of TV shows, and picking new ones is a surefire way to ensure they are cancelled once I get all wrapped up in them.9. Have you got a show that you loved but got cancelled after only a few episodes or mid-season?
Not for a long time. See #9 above.
