Monday Madness

July 10

1. What is your favorite framed object in your house?
I don't keep stuff on display in my house unless I really like it and there's a story behind it. This is really hard...
...either the Canyon de Chelly watercolor, the small painting by a bloggy-friend of the Rockies, or the picture of Sparky as an almost-2-year-old. Or the diptych pietas. Or the lighthouse painting. Shit. I even like the train drawings in the basement.
2. If you had a choice of being a carnivore or a herbivore, which one would you be, and why?
Carnivore. I like meat.
3. Who do you think should have won the FIFA World Cup? Or, don't you care?
Uhm, upholding the American stereotype here...don't care. Sorry, I know that makes me stupid by most definitions, but I didn't watch enough (any) games, so I can't really judge.
4. What's your feelings on stormy weather?
Great song! Lena Horne is among the best singers ever.

Oh, and I don't mind storms with the following caveats: 1) there can be no big trees near enough to damage my house if they blow down; 2) the sky and ambient light cannot go that frightening yellow/green/bright white light that presages tornados; 3) which leads to the general rule that I don't really care for tornado weather in the least. As in, "terrified."
5. Do you believe in "time out" chairs?
Yup. I need one for myself. In fact, I think they should be scattered everywhere in public so that people can put freaked-out people into time-out for a cool-down period.

We used time-outs a lot with Sparky when he was little and he still knows the phrase, "Excuse me?!" may lead to "Stop. One..."
6. Have you ever bought or sold anything on Ebay?
Nope. Neither one.
