Friday 5

Shopping

  1. From what stores is it impossible for you to emerge empty-handed?

  2. I used to be really bad about office supply stores, but I've trained myself to do better. But I almost always end up with a new funky pen or pad of paper.

  3. Where do you go when you need to spend a little bit of make-me-feel-better money?

  4. I'm pretty easy this way: anywhere works for me. Target, Kohl's, DQ...

  5. What store you did you used to frequent but no longer find appealing?

  6. Not that I enjoyed shopping there, I used to go to K-Mart a lot, because it was the only store in town. Since we moved, I show at another town, where the K-Mart just closed.

  7. If you opened your own retail store (not a food-service establishment), what would be its theme, name, and target clientele?

  8. Yeah, I'd definitely be doing the bookstore route, but I'm not sure I'd do it alone. It's a lot of very hard work. No name ideas. Obviously, the target clientele would be everyone.

  9. If you had to purchase all your friends’ gifts at one store for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

  10. Assuming no real change in the quality of the store, I'd go with Target or Borders.
