From ZFP
1. What time did you get up this morning?
Which time? I got up around 1:30 and came back downstairs because I couldn't get back to sleep after the light-and-sound show that nature put on around midnight.
I woke up when Beast got up, showered, dressed and left for work at 5:20, whereupon I went back to bed.
My alarm clock woke me up at 6:30 so I could sit here with Sparky before he leaves for school.
I'm going back to bed when he leaves so I can get another hour or two of sleep (I hope); I work the 12-9 shift on Thursdays now.
2. Diamonds or pearls?
Diamonds for investment. I actually don't own any real pearls. Yoo-hoo: BEAST! :-)
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
Chronicles of Narnia. Guess it's about time to get myself back to the theater, eh?
4. What is your favorite TV show?
CSI, TAR, Survivor, in that order. It's all I would set the tape up for if I were to be out of the house while it's on.
5. What did you have for breakfast?
So far, only some caffeine-free Dr. Pepper in hopes I can get back to sleep. I'll eat "brunch."
6. What is your middle name?
No comment, beyond the fact that I was named for a family friend and aunt. It's short: only 4 letters.
7. What is your favorite food?
Just about anything in the bread family works for me.
8. What foods do you dislike?
Liver. Rhubarb. Sushi.
9. What kind of potato chips do you like?
The kind with sea salt and PEPPER on them. I can eat them till my lips feel like they're going to burn right off my face!
10. What is your favorite CD at the moment?
At the moment? I'm kind of still working through Amy's mix discs. Not that they're work, but there are a lot of them, one for every potential mood.
If I were to name a disc that was purchased, I'd say Toby Mac's "Diverse City."
11. What kind of car do you drive?
Scarily enough, the same kind as ZFP: a '98 Ford Ranger.
12. Favorite sandwich?
Growing up, I always had Mom make a cheese sandwich for my lunch. That's all I ate for at least 5 years of lunchbox lunches. Now I've kind of gone off sandwiches...though a butter sandwich can't be beat, especially with home-made bread!
13. What characteristics do you despise?
Selfishness, getting joy from other people's pain, obtuseness.
14. Favorite item of clothing?
Comfy blue jeans. Or pajamas.
15. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?

"On Sale."

Probably Chris. (Now, of course, he won't do this one.)
24. Coke or Pepsi?
Prefer (diet) Pepsi.
25. Are you a morning person or night owl?
By nature, I'm a morning person, but I've taught myself to be a little more of a night owl.

9 to 10, depending on the shoe.
27. Do you have any pets?
Just the guinea pigs.
28. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share with everyone?
Can't think of anything. If it's that big, it'll probably show up on the blog.
29. What did you want to be when you were little?
When I was very little, a grocery store clerk. Then a teacher. Then, for a long time, I had no idea what to do with myself.
30. Is the glass half empty or half full?
20 years ago I would've said half full without a thought. Nowadays, I've found myself being much more pessimistic, but I think I still lean toward full.
31. What is your best childhood memory?
Probably a tie between jumping rope in the driveway for hours or playing jacks on the porch for hours.
32. What are the different jobs you have had in your life?
Working backwards: librarian, newspaper carrier, telephone book delivery-person, archives intern, children's librarian intern, Conference Services, Christian Ed. intern, temp worker (which included filing, answering phones, making clam sauce, anything and everything), library page, babysitter, general dogsbody for Mom or Dad when they needed help in their offices, secretary for Dad's home-based business...

White.
34. Nicknames:
Cat. about does it. My name doesn't shorten very well.

One in each earlobe.
36. Eye color:
Again stealing from ZFP: hazel. This morning, I'd guess I'm edging toward the brown side based on the pajamas I'm wearing.
37. Ever been to Africa?
Not yet. Waiting for Beast to get on board with the plan.
38. Ever been toilet papering?
Actually, no.
39. Love someone so much it made you cry?
Yes. Too many times to count.

A couple.
41. Croutons or bacon bits?
I have to choose? Well, if they're not real bacon, I'll have the croutons.

To quote Chris: meh.

Beast. Just Beast. Though it was actually lunch, I think.
55. Lake, ocean or river?
My first answer was river. But I like the Pacific, too.
56. How many tattoos do you have?
None. The only marks on my skin are scars and stretch marks, every one of which I earned honestly.
57. Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
Chicken.
58. How many people are you tagging with this?
If you're reading this, consider yourself tagged.
