Friday Five

If you knew you were going to die on at specific day at a specific time, what's the last...

1. song you would listen to?
Probably something really loud and obnoxious. The Sex Pistols, or Guns 'n Roses...or Henry Rollins...

2. book you would read?
Revelation

3. person you would talk to?
Wouldn't it be wonderful to call up someone you don't like very much and DIE while talking to them? Or am I just a bad person for thinking that?

I think I'd like to have said all my goodbyes well before the last minute, but I'd probably suddenly think of something Really Important (like, cook the pies at 375).

4. food you would eat?
All the spiciest food I could manage. The really, really hot stuff.

5. goal you would accomplish?
I have no idea. My realistic last goal in life is to die, but that's a bit redundant and self-contradictory. So, I really have no idea at all here, and I'm trying not to be silly...but it's becoming increasingly difficult.

Having answered all of these, I can now say that when I first read these questions, I had a visceral memory of George Carlin's "Two-Minute Warning." After I stopped giggling maniacally, I tried to answer the questions seriously. Not sure how well that worked.
