Sunday Seven

THIS WEEK'S QUESTION:

Name up to seven things you enjoy doing during a thunderstorm.
1. Watch the lightning.
2. Count between lightning and thunder.
3. Check for "greenish" light (which means we could be hearing the tornado siren shortly).
4. Find the flashlights, in case we lose power.
5. Wait for it to be less noisy outside.


I can't think of anything else. We used to have to keep the dog next to us so she wouldn't completely flip out; she hated thunder (and fireworks, and motorcycles...). Then she went deaf, which made life easier. And I used to worry about all the big trees by our house being hit by lightning, or blowing over onto our roof. We don't have any trees now, so it's no longer an issue.

Otherwise, I actually like thunderstorms. I grew up in a dry climate, so rain was always VERY welcome.
