Hump Day

Today's theme is Lady Luck Day. I'm feeling lucky, so let's get started!

1. What's the luckiest thing that's ever happened to you?
There are too many things I could list here: my family, my husband, my son. Maybe those aren't really luck, though...
In the traditional sense of luck, I can't think of much. I'm a lousy lucky charm--rarely win contests or raffles, and Las Vegas is a giant sinkhole for my cash (if I were to let it become so).

2. Is there something that you just cannot seem to have luck with?
See above. My mother-in-law, and to an extent my husband as well, win door prizes, slot machine jackpots, etc. like they were fixed. Me, not so much.

3. Do you do any gambling? If so, what kind?
I don't make it a habit. I like the slots and video poker, but after about an hour I'm bored. Actually, it's more a combination of boredom and depression at the people I'm sitting near.

I do like betting on dogs and horses, at the track, too.
