The Heavens

1. Have you ever owned a telescope? If not, have you ever used one?
I think we have one somewhere. We borrowed a more powerful one a couple of years ago from a coworker/friend to see ... uh ... something important. Lunar eclipse? It was at night that's all I remember.

2. What do you like looking at the most in the night sky? Why?
It's just nice to be able to see the stars out here in the "country." We're also on the flight path for a Major U.S. Airport, so we can see as they line up for their landing (about 50 miles from here).

3. Have you ever seen the moons of Jupiter or Saturn?
Only in books. ;-)

Bonus Question: Have you ever seen a comet with your own eyes? If so, which one?
I don't know. Beast used to drag me outside and show me stuff in the sky all the time. I'm completely stupid about astronomy--completely. I don't remember ever having to study it.

Anyway, one of those times Beast may have been trying to show me a comet.
