Onesome: eBay-- Is eBay your first stop when looking for something? ...or your last place to go when you cannot find it anywhere else? Do you even use it? ...and hey, have you scored anything choice there lately?
I don't think I've ever actually bought anything on eBay. I've browsed there on occasion, but I'm so not a collector. And it's just so much easier to hit the store than screw around looking for something that may not be there on eBay.Twosome: and-- while we're at it: if you did your shopping online for Christmas, how did it go? Did things come in on time? Any significant failures? ...and if you didn't, will you consider trying online shopping sometime this year?
I've had other Christmases where I did most of my shopping online. This year I shopped at my local bookstore primarily, and other in-town shops. Never had much trouble getting things on time, but this year I did (because I put off ordering special stuff till w-a-a-y too late).Threesome: PayPal-- Online shopping and services can be somewhat of an adventure; is PayPal your choice as a payment option or do you prefer another method. ...or do you shop locally or not at all?
See above about shopping locally. I've never used PayPal. My credit card is all I use, because I can put a stop on payment easier there than with my bank. And most places take credit cards over checks where I shop online.
::Certainly Worth the Drive::
Onesome: "Certainly-- is there anything in life you are "certain" about? Firm in your beliefs? Strong in your convictions? Tell us...
Pretty certain about my marriage, the existence of God, and mountains.Twosome: Worth-- what do you value? What people or projects are "worth your time"?
I value time. I value my family. I value intelligence. I value history. I value health.Threesome: the Drive-- and from where you live, can you "get" to places easily? Is it an event to drive to the store? Do you live in a metropolis where everything is close?
Everything is at least a 15 minute drive from the house. We live in a 'village' with one small grocery store about 3 blocks from us, and a small bank. That's the Business District. The nearest towns have a slightly higher level of service, but they aren't "metropolises." We can get to a Really Big City on in about 2 hours' time. Or a Pretty Big City in about an hour.
