1. Do you walk under or around ladders?
I walk wherever I need to walk, generally around them. Listen, I grew up with an older brother; I learned not to walk under ladders where he could drop shit on my head.
2. Do you avoid black cats?
I avoid all cats because of allergies. But I admire black cats; they look sleek and smart.
3. Do you whistle when you pass a cemetery?
Never understood this one...no. Actually, my inlaws wave whenever they pass one, just in case they know someone.
4. If you spill salt, do you throw a pinch of it over your left shoulder?
No. More to clean up.
5. Do you avoid opening an umbrella indoors?
No. How else do you get it dry and keep it from mildewing?
6. Do you knock on wood to bring good luck?
I do it without thinking. Yeah. I don't really believe it. I think.
7. If you’re given a horseshoe, would you hang it with with the curved side down or up?
For traditional reasons, I'd hang it with prongs up. But it makes more sense--only one nail needed--to hang it prongs down.
8. You see a pin on the floor. Do you pick it up?
Of course! Don't want to step on it barefooted.
9. Do you cross your fingers for luck?
Jokingly only.
10. Would you display peacock feathers in your house?
WTF--never heard of this. Why not?
