Hump Day

from BDI:

Today's theme is Neon Sign Day! Let's start the hump.

1. What does your personal neon sign say to the world?
Today, lately, it's something along the lines of "Fuck with me at your own peril."

2. Ever seen a neon sign with certain letters burned out so that it said something unintended?
For the last year, the bowling alley I drive past every day has had part of the sign burned out. During the day, I obviously can't tell, but at night it just says "BOW." I always say, "Wow" and my son groans and flails at me. When they fix it, I might be sad. But I'm more likely to be relieved, as will Sparky!

That's all I can think of for that theme. The theme for Thursday is Headache Day, so:

3. What gives you a headache? Could be a scent, a sound, someone's actions - anything.
I have allergies, so exposure to my triggers starts with a headache: corn pollen, cats, dogs, dust, mold... Also, extreme cold and lack of caffeine. And crying, if indulged in for too long at once.
Mostly, people don't give me a headache. A stomachache, and pains elsewhere, but no headache.

4. What song, artist or album in your music collection would you pull out and play if you wanted to give your roommate/neighbors a huge, head-splitting headache?
Hmmm, what would I choose to give The Beast a headache....? The Bee Gees, perhaps, or Andy Gibb. Maybe show tunes....

My neighbors, I wouldn't even try to compete: they have everything annoying on their side, from late night band practice, to fireworks (i.e. gas bombs) to loud drunks. I compete by stuffing earplugs in, or going out of town
