I think I did this awhile back, but not at home. Plus it’s one of those low-thought days.

1) Grab the nearest book.
2) Open the book to page 123.
3) Find the fifth sentence.
4) Post the next 3 sentences on your blog along with these instructions.
5) Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you're thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.

I’m reading Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke today, trying to get through it. Which is worse than it sounds, because it’s quite a well-written book; I’m just having concentration issues.

So, page 123, fifth sentence, and GO!

“Why not pigs in the sty? Or stray dogs, I wonder? This is not the sort of magic which civilized men wish to see practised in England nowadays!”

It makes slightly more sense if one has read the book. Just slightly, though.
