So, tell us, what track from the past ... will always make you want to get up and dance?
I refuse to dance to "YMCA" any more. But I will do the Chicken Dance, and even the Macarena if sufficiently...uhm, drunk. For slow dance, "Babe" by Styx is required dancing.
What one thing haven't you done that might surprise us?
I haven't ever learned to swim. I've mentioned that before, I'm sure, but since everyone I tell seems to think I've grown antlers when I say it....
Name one thing you can beat me at?
Alphabetizing [catalog] cards. :-)

week of Oct.22: Have you ever seen a ghost?

Keeping with the 'spirit' of Halloween this weeks questions are:

Have you ever seen a ghost? Nope.
Know someone who has? Not that they've told me.
Do you believe in ghosts? Let's put it this way: I have no reason to believe, but I don't necessarily not believe.

till next time....

By the Way Sunday

~Holiday Prep~

Though it's only October 22nd, the holidays are already making an appearance.
It seems Christmas comes faster and faster every year.
Once Halloween is over, it is a downhill slide.

On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most prepared, how prepared are you for Christmas right now? (By being prepared, I mean Christmas shopping, plans, schedules, etc.)
Mayhem threatens. I'm not even sure if I'm going to be serving Thanksgiving again this year.... Then there's the baby shower I've promised to hold for my niece, which I can't seem to get sorted out.... And gifts? Forget it; I have no ideas at all this year!
As far as Christmas shopping, do you shop all year, at the last minute, or a little of both?
Normally, I shop all year. This year, I've done NOTHING.
What personal guidelines do you use as far as giving gifts?
(Who or what, price limits, maybe you make your gifts, etc. or maybe you don't give gifts)
I'm seriously considering donations for close friends and family. I'll still shop for stuff for the kids, though.
Do you look forward to the holidays, or dread them? Why?
A little of both. I enjoy the excitement and the kids and so forth. I dread the lead-in, the Muzak, the frenzy...
Whether or not you celebrate Christmas each year, how do the holidays impact your life?
We are too freakin' busy the entire month, and there's just too much to keep track of.
