What are the five things you simply must have when you are away from home [i.e. on vactaion]? And why? Any history or goofy things, or stories?
- Money or credit cards. For spending, of course, but the credit cards also work as ID in some cases. To go along with that, passport and/or driver's license.
- Lists. Things to do in various places, restaurants, hotels, packing, addresses of people who want postcards or mementos, etc. etc.
- Enough meds to last at least a couple of days past the planned return date.
- The camera. Which I frequently forget to use at the best possible times.
- Cheetos.
