10 Things You Think People Don't Like About You

1. My opinions and my willingness to air them out.
2. There are things about which I tend to be awfully judgmental. I think it's genetic, and I think I got the smallest share of all my siblings...however, a small slice of a large pizza is still pretty big!
3. The fact that I never write, never call. Hi, Mom!
4. My wait-till-the-last-minute style of handling life. Well, I know I don't like this about me.
5. My lame attempts at humor when I should just shut up.
6. I swear too much for some people.
7. My short temper (this applies mostly to Beast and Sparky, unfortunately; I rarely do a full-on freak at work or elsewhere).
8. The fact that I know a little tiny bit about a lot of different things. And the fact that if I don't know an answer, I frequently feel compelled to find the answer.
9. Taking things personally that weren't meant to be taken personally.
10. I can't remember what people look like if I'm not constantly reminded. I'll remember people's names forever (I still remember a lot of the patrons at the library where I worked in the late '80s), and ever some phone numbers if I've written them down a lot, but faces? I suck at face recognition, especially if you've cut or colored your hair, lost or put on a lot of weight, aged since I last saw you...basically had any life-changing event. I have walked past people I was good friends with, snubbing them completely. Reunions are loads of fun for me; it's all a new crowd as far as I'm concerned.
    HOWEVER, I have a better memory of faces if you screwed me over somehow. I"ll never forget what PsychoBoss looks like, for instance.
