Saturday Six

1. What is your favorite foreign or non-English word?
"Muévete" or "Venga" which I've used for years to get Sparky to pick up the pace when I'm in a hurry.
2. What is your least favorite foreign or non-English word?
Non/No/Nyet/Mhai/Ha/Hindi/Lo/Nahin/Nein/La/Achicha/Nyaa...
3. Of the foreign languages offered in your high school, which one did you choose to learn?
Spanish. Seemed the most sensible, not to mention the easiest!
4. If you could have selected any known foreign language instead, which would you have picked?
In high school, I was quite happy with Spanish. Since then, I've wanted to learn Russian, Hebrew, and Greek.
5. Take the quiz: What Language Are You?
You Are Italian
Ah, you are a true romantic. You enjoy all of the sensual pleasures in love - delicious food, soul stirring music, a beautiful sunset...

And you always seem to be able to find the words to describe each experience perfectly.

You are a charming and seductive person. You just have that certain something that draws people to you.

You are passionate about words. Words can easily inspire, delight, or anger you. It's sometimes all about how something was said.

OK, I'm all about learning Italian, but not necessarily for the reasons given. :-)
6. Other than English, which language are you most likely to use?
I minored in Spanish...yeah, Spanish. But will occasionally whip out some Russian or German. German is just to annoy my son who is in his 3rd year.
